You are responsible for your outreach
You decide who your team contacts. It's your responsibility to know and follow the laws that apply to your outreach, in every place you contact people. This policy isn't legal advice.
Calling
- Follow the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR), and state telemarketing laws, including rules on calling hours and on registering as a telemarketer.
- Have the consent the law requires before you call. That includes prior express written consent where it's required for autodialed or prerecorded marketing calls to mobile phones.
- Check the National Do Not Call Registry and state lists, keep your own internal do-not-call list, and honor every request to stop.
- Identify your business truthfully, and don't display a caller ID you aren't authorized to use.
- Voicemail drops and AI voices can count as prerecorded or artificial voice calls. Use them only where you have the consent the law requires.
Recording calls
Dialzee can record calls. Many states and countries require everyone on a call to agree before it's recorded. Getting that agreement, for example by announcing the recording, is your responsibility.
Text messages
- Send texts only to people who have agreed to receive them from you, and keep records of that consent.
- Use only registered numbers and campaigns, and send only the kind of messages your registration describes.
- Say who you are, and honor opt-outs such as STOP. Don't try to work around Dialzee's opt-out blocking.
- Don't send content carriers prohibit, including content about cannabis, illegal drugs, gambling where it isn't allowed, hate, or sexual content.
- Follow the CAN-SPAM Act and similar laws. Use truthful sender details and subject lines.
- Include your business address, keep the unsubscribe link Dialzee adds, and honor unsubscribes.
- Don't send to purchased lists without a lawful basis, or to addresses that have bounced or complained.
What you may never do
- Use Dialzee for fraud, scams, phishing, harassment, threats, or impersonating someone.
- Spoof numbers or hide who you are.
- Contact people in a way that's illegal, or break a court order or regulator's decision.
- Discriminate unlawfully, for example in insurance, credit, housing or employment.
- Upload information you have no right to use, or sensitive data Dialzee isn't meant for, such as full payment card numbers, unless we've agreed in writing.
- Use Dialzee for emergency services or anything where a failure could put someone in danger.
- Try to break into, overload, copy or probe Dialzee, get around usage limits, share logins, or resell the service without our written agreement.
What we can do
We may review usage where the law allows, and act on complaints from carriers, regulators or recipients. If we believe this policy has been broken, we may warn you, block a number or message, suspend your account, or end it. Serious or repeated problems can lead to immediate action. Carriers may also block traffic or charge fines, and fines caused by your use are your responsibility.
